Annual Events

Black & White Ball- The Downers Grove Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s annual gala affair is where we will honor the Citizen of the Year, as well as the    outgoing Board of Directors and Chamber leaders. Attendees have the opportunity to stroll down the red carpet, browse our premium silent auction, then dance the night away after an elegant dinner.

 

Golf Outings- The Golf Committee begins meeting in March of each year to determine the planning and development of each golf outing. Participation is encouraged on all levels, from committee members, golfers, volunteers, or sponsors.  May 2009 Photos

 

Chamber Choice Awards- This event gives the Chamber a chance to acknowledge Chamber Members for their achievements in Business Excellence or their Individual and Community Contributions. Finalists are chosen in the Community Contribution area (not-for-profits qualify) as well as each of the four Business Excellence categories (Service/Retail/Industrial/Professional). Individual categories include our Philanthropic Award and our Exceptional Young Professional Award.
