Citizen of the Year Award
The Downers Grove Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry is now accepting nominations for the Citizen of the Year Award .
We present this prestigious annual award to an individual who has performed outstanding service to the Downers Grove community. The Citizen of the Year Award will be presented at the
D3 Financial Counselors Black & White Ball on
September 20, 2008
Past recipients of the honor are people in our community who have contributed their time, talents, and abilities to the enrichment of Downers Grove . Past recipients include: Florence Herrick, Philip Giancola, Pat and Jack Winter, Wayne Guthrie, Frank Houch, Wally Lindaman, Richard Hamlin, Florence and Robert Goold, Jim Stahl, Jim Russ, Sr., Dr. Floyd Mizner, John Hain, Curt McCullagh,
F. Jan Kopis, Willis Johnson, Betty Cheever, Grace and Gregg Beggs, Dave
Humphreys, Tim McJoynt, Phil Cullen, Liz Chalberg, Linda Kunze, Tom Sisul, Lisa
Rasin, Jim Russ, Jr., Marc Hausmann, and last year's recipient, Gordon Goodman.
Nomination Instructions:
All nominations must be received by 5:00 pm August 8, 2008.
