Downers Grove Township

Downers Grove Township is the largest township in
DuPage County, containing 54 square miles. Other
townships in the county have 36 square miles. The
township is bound on the north by 39th street, on
the south by the Sag Canal, on the east by County
Line Road and on the west by Woodward Avenue in
Downers Grove.
Downers Grove Township has over
140,000 residents, and includes all or portions of 9
incorporated towns: Burr Ridge, Clarendon Hills, Darien,
Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Westmont, Willowbrook, and a
small portion of Oak Brook, Woodridge, and
unincorporated Lemont.

York Township
was incorporated in 1839, has over 128,000 residents
with over 70,000 voters. It includes five
municipalities: Elmhurst, Lombard, Villa Park, Oak Brook
and Oakbrook Terrace, as well as sections of Downers
Grove, Glen Ellyn, Hinsdale and Westmont.
